Custom sound not playing.

For some reason I put several custom wave files from NWN2 into the Elemental sfx directory and tried to play them in a custom spell and nothing happened.

Any hint as to whats going on? Seriously there is no difference between these wav files and the ones in game.

It could be that the waves do not have the right kbps for example. In sword of the stars I had the same problem, try converting them changing the Hz might help aswell.
