Brad. I understand, just call it.

Look, you had a dream, the story behind it is good. It just wasn't fleshed out enough. I get the deadline of August vs February and the book release date. This is your baby! You thought it was solid, but you were not correct. You blinded yourself and, well us.

The beta testers bought into you could pull something out of the nether regions. You missed. Sorry, I was really pulling for you, but you missed. I still have faith you will pull out a good game, but, man, really? For all your "Stardock doesn't need games to be viable", peoples jobs were apparently at stake. Sounds like a lie by omission.

So I will give you faith for patches and from here, hopefully updates/expansions. Right now, I feel like you played your customers and perhaps worse, you co-workers. You risked their jobs on this and they paid the price.

I sincerely hope it all rebounds and we can all be a big happy family again. I hope you learned your lesson as well.

Regards,

Blaze

C'mon. Just call it? Elemental is not without it's faults but inside there is a good game. It needs some fixes, patches, and expansion for certain but this is not something that should be given up on. It needs the support of Stardock and from us. We cannot all just throw in the towel and give up because it had a bad launch.

I think Brad made some mistakes, for sure. I do hope that he wont repeat them again. But we also need to understand what kind of a volatile market this is right now, the economy ain't so great, and Elemental's launch wasn exactly perfect.

It's true we didn't get the full picture, I still don't think we're being told absolutely everything. I'll give you that. But I don't feel swindled or like Brad lied. That's a stretch and probably somewhat offensive to Stardock and Brad.

"I hope you learned your lesson" WHT is that? Did you say that with a smirk on your face? Did your mother always spank you after you did something wrong or something? This whole thing comes off a little sarcastic and cruel.

Whats the point other then to take shots at Brad and Stardock while they're down?

Never, never kick someone when they are down unless it's to say "Get up!  I'll walk with you."
