Tactical summons?

Has anyone tried making a tactical summon unit spell?  I'm thinking along the lines of the MoM Phantom Warriors spell, that summoned a unit of magical troops for the duration of the tactical combat.

I'm trying to work on a revamp of the spell lists for Fire, Air, Earth, and Water.  Having tactical summons available would greatly increase the options.

There are some technical issues holding us back, but like Brad said, they're coming.  If you add the appropriate summon modifier to a tactical spell right now it's most likely going to summon it on the main map, after the battle is over.

Great!  Thanks for the response on this.  You guys may beat me to it, but I was hoping to post the lists I came up with to hopefully contribute to the increasing of spells in general.  I'll try to get as much done this week as I can and post the mod in the hopes that other folks can try it out and provide some balance comments.

I did a fair amount of testing out of the gate and tactical summonng does not work. The best I did was get a bear showing up once combat was over. Good to hear we will get a tactical ability soon. Kinda figured out it was not wired up in the code. With any luck we will get a number of mod related problems knocked out soon.
