In Short: this game needs an option to turn off automatic unit design and also the ability to forever delete user created unit designs
Now heres my rant about it....
The thing I hate most about this game is that fact that there is no option to disable automatic unit designs. unless im really stupid and i just cant find that option. I cant stand the fact that when i research whatever gives me leather armor i have to go and delete a new troop design thats a guy with a stick. I already had that technology!. before i know it my design board is filled with lame units on outdated technology because the automatic unit design has no relavency to the technology you just unlocked. also... sometimes i design a bad unit that i never want to see again. Yet every new game i start i see all my old designed units, even the ones i dont want to see. and yet the rule book QUOTES "There is no such thing as a "knight" in Elemental. Instead, Players create there own designs..." LIES!!!! this games forces apon me many many different types of knights as well as Lots of "Archers" all named "Archer", at least the knight names got some variety to them. and all of them, when given to me. use technologies that are not related to the better technologies which i just unlocked.
The rulebook says that during a single player game, you have the option to select "Huge" World maps and well as selcect a "Landmass" type. Were are these options, i know there in the mod creation tools but the not in the single player game options were the rulebook says they should be. again, unless im extremely retard. (I am). My world size options go from "tiny" to "large" There is no "Huge" unless its just because im white and they just dont give me that option. and there is no "landmass" option, i looked. its really game killing to discover your islandlocked when you really want to play a pangea style campaign, or your landlocked when your in the mood for a more piratesque type of experience.
Item Creation! I cant find it, rulebook says its there, I cant figure it out. I admit i didnt press every single button I could find, But if its there its not user friendly enough to find.
Otherwise Great Game. Stardock always delivers great games that only get better.
