So, I was still having OOM crashes with 1.07 and someone suggested a fresh install. Since my disk had gotten here recently I installed from that. So when the main menu is up the back ground is much different and moves. Also, the options are different too.
the disc version is unpatched. you can install it with the disc then update it via impulse and you'll have a better experience.

I updated before even launching. What I am talking about is the versions are different in some aspects. Both get just as many OOM errors for me:(
At this point, I'm thinking the disk version might cause cancer. Install disk, update to latest.
Explains why it's taking the LE so long to clear customs. You didn't put a radioactive symbol on it did you? I've already used the DeLorean as an excuse once and I doubt they'd fall for it again. Plus the Libyans would get upset if they thought I had another supplier.
Nope, just have it saving every turn so I only lose one when it crashes.
That's ok, the Australian sun will probably beat you first in regards to my personal well-being hehe.
Suppose I order the disk version one day. Can I download the patches, or is Impulse the only way ? Impulse doesn't work in wine (Linux).
We're planning to offer updated-to-current discs down the line. Though we've no plans to specifically support linux either way.
