Is there a way to select resource tile when a unit stands on it?

I want to build a Farm on a tile with Fertile Land resource. Unfortunately some NPC champion stands right on it - so I just can't select the tile with my mouse. Is there any "special" way to do it? Like Ctrl + click maybe or something.

So far it seems that the only thing I can do is to wait (and lose) a turn.

Same goes for my own units too - if a caravan, for example, stands right on empty or "claimed" resource tile, there's no way it seems to select the tile or access that tile's info, to view its "tooltip window" (when I want to know how many turns left to complete construction for example).

I haven't found a way.  Annoying it is.

It's on the mental list of things I need to add to a physical list of things to suggest be changed.

I find this annoying as well. losing a turn just to see info that should be available to you can hurt in the TBS world

It's the same when a monster moves onto the same tile as your army, without engaging.

You have to move off to be able to fight them - annoying when you're in the woods!

If you don't plan on hiring the champion, you can always kill it. Just select your army, use the Action tab in the bottom info bar to choose Attack, and kill it. Of course, this requires one of your armies being next to the champion.

Other than that, though, you just have to wait.
