Starting Spell Book of Death and Summoning/Sovereign questions

So I've been loving the game so far and it's really sucking me in. But besides the minor technical issues I've been having which Stardock has been fixing rapidly (nice job guys!) I've got a few questions about the starting spell books.

Some of the premade Sovereigns have the Book of Death and I've made 1 Sovereign who got the Book of Summoning at the start. Does anyone have any idea how you manage to get these? I don't even know how I got Summoning as I made a second Soverign with the exact same stats and didn't get it.... sooo does anyone have a clue on this? I'm really lost as to what the heck is going on here, it seems like a glitch. But the book of Summoning seems to be doing a lot, that Soveriegn has a lot more summons then the others of her type.... just how the heck did I get it and how do I replicate getting it and how do you get Death?

Also, as a side note... I always see the enemy has had their Sovereign marry and have kids. How do you get this for your Sovereign? I can't seem to figure it out and their isn't an obvious option for doing it.

You need to set your allegiance to an Empire.  Kingdoms get the book of life and Empires get the book of death.  This should have been a tooltip when you hover over this choice in creation.

Correction:  I mean this should have been, as in the developers should have implemented this tooltip,  Not as in, you should have seen it when you hovered over the option.  Maybe it will get added in a patch.  All the differences between Empire and Kingdom should appear when you hover over those options in creation, IMHO.

Yeah that would be really nice.

But where did the book of summoning come from? I have that with a sovereign and still no clue how I got it.

afaik the ability to choose the book of summoning at start was possible in 1.0, but was removed and made research-only past 1.05, so if your sovereign was created before that he might have it. i think.
