Am I the only one that's having more crashes with 1.07 than previous versions? The game I have been trying to play wont run for more than a turn.
I`ve install this game with only 1.07 patch (but without previous versions), today arround 13:00 and play first skirmish map for about 4 hours (without a single crash!!!!!!!) and then played campaign for 3 hours (again without a single crash).
I'm glad you posted this because I thought I was the only one. I am having more crashes with the new update, about one crash every 75 turns. When I log back in, I'm able to play fine so it's not something I can replicate and therefore don't bother with posting a crash log.
That being said, there are lots of improvements with the latest update, so it's a trade off. My music doesn't cut out any more, and the animations match up with the sound. I did get a weird pixelated screen while casting a fireball spell once, but it never happened again.
As another poster said, the fact that I'm restarting a game after a crash says a lot about the game. Yes it crashes on me, but it has its hooks in me deep. The game is entertaining and giving me that 'just one more turn' rush, so I'll just keep playing along waiting for the next patch and keeping my fingers crossed.
I too have to add myself to the more crashes under 1.07 list. I already posted my error log. I was able to play 250+ turns under 1.06. 1.07 has more video load but I have not cut back on settings, I'm waiting to see what fixes come out.
The crashes are sudden CTD and not PC stoppers thank goodness. Memory leak? Video issue? Who knows? They'll take care of it, I'm sure.
well maybe for those with crashes, try to put only last patch 1.07, on clean game install.
