So, we're up to 1.07 and my game still just goes into a black screen then promptly crashes back to the desktop without any error messages every time I try to launch it, regardless of how. Is this still being worked on or has someone figured out a solution that I've missed?
Can you post some more specifics - computer, os, video card driver version, etc?
Please open your debug.err file in notepad, and link the contents into a post here via pastebin. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.
The file can be found in My Documents\My Games\Elemental
Be sure to copy the debug immediately after the error occurs; if you start the game again, the debug log will be erased and recreated for the new session.
There we go.
It's an iMac running Windows XP SP3 through boot camp. The same setup actually works on my significantly weaker 2006 MacBook Pro with completely outdated video drivers. That can run the game just fine, while this one won't even boot.
Are you using ati tray tools or any other apps that override refresh rates?
Actually, I AM using Ati Tray Tools 
I'll shut it off and try the game as soon as I can.
