Multiplayer... uh... please explain...

You know... when you sell a game, and it says the following in the description:

"Online multiplayer games support up to 16 people playing at once"

I kinda expect such a feature to actually BE in the game... not that it's a feature coming sometime between now and infinity.

Stardock really should finish their games before they release them, although i was also severely raped in the behind with Demigod, so i guess i should have known.

in Demigod's defense they did not expect the server problems they ended up encountering.

To prevent multiplayer from abusing your backend in a similar fashion they opted to suspend multiplayer for some time.  It is in the game!   we're all just trying to beat the 'waiting mini-game' that unlocks it.

If Stardock doesn't want to finish products before they sell them, then at least they could only advertise the features they DO have.

Would you have rather waited another year to play it and get all of the features being added to the game but without player involvement?

Yes. I mean seriously, I don't know why Stardock fans defend this practice. I don't want ANY company to advertise features that are not ready or available for a game on the box or even the website for that matter. It is not an ethical practice to have.

Second and agree and all that.  Im not sure why people think its ok to release a completely unfinished game for 50 dollars.  Yes you can play, but some of these bugs are HUGE game stoppers.  Spells completely missing?  Combat not working?  AI not defending cities or areas?  AI Just sitting around.  These are GAME STOPPERS.  They are not fun, nor work aroundable.  They are things that should have been adressed before they took your money.

As for multiplayer.  Well I dont even want to talk about it.  Not until the game actually works as advertised and intended.
