Yes.  They should work with retail and D2D (or gamers gate etc).

I'm glad my daughter doesn't read these forums cause otherwise she'd be begging me to buy them.

However those are very good sale prices and the fact they're part of the "Play for the Cause" charity drive has got me thinking about it.
