[Gameplay] Some easy to implement ideas to balance better the game

I would like first to congratulate you Stardock for this game and for all the fun I had since I bought it, I also would like to apologize for my bad english as actually I'm french.

I really enjoy this game and I find the gameplay very pleasant but I think there are some features imbalanced when compared to other strategies and for the reason, it's my job to do fairness in industry coding, I had some ideas on some field of this game. Hope this will help.

TALENT AND CREATION SYSTEM

- wisdom should have an incidence on essence and on mana regen (the same when level up , wisdom instead of essence)

- brillant should give one free technology and not 1TK/turn (far too unfair)

- meditative should give one lvl 1 spell and not 1AK/turn (same issue)

- I do think every sovereign should have by birth the organized ability.

- royalty should apply only when the sovereign is in the city

 

COMBAT SYSTEM

- defense should apply for every unit on a squad (for example a single unit with a defense of 1 should have virtually 4 against a squad of peasant), I think it would be far better

- every weapon should have a min damage, 0 for hammer or axe is IMHO right but doesn't apply for a sword 

 

SUMMONING SYSTEM

- Invocation should remove essence from the caster max value of essence until it's killed or dispell by the caster.
