Man, I just had a great time playing the game, I'm older, let's just leave it at that, so I like to take my time, I like to name my champions & some regular units to if they do good in battle... ;) ...So in my game I'm at war with the Magnar kingdom they got me out powered but I send a couple of unit's in to pick off some of their less equipped units, I've got a son &  just got a new daughter. I'm playing as Tarth so soon I'll be able to convince New Pariden to war with Magnar by marrying off my son to their daughter plus I just found my 3rd fire shard for my fire based Sovereign...Hello Fire Giant !! his name is Ember's..............Turn 171...........OUT OF MEMORY

I was so disappointed....I purposely with for the patch (1.05) at the time before I purchased the game. My computer is fine to run this game, shouldn't be a problem, never had this happen with any other software, game, application or anything so it's not the computer, I'm not going down that road, I know enough to know the difference, just wanna play the game.

 

I just don't get why you guy's at Stardock just didn't wait, you guy's have the power as a independent to do this, it's your strength !! Hardly no one else has that in the industry, plus you have managed to build up a good name for yourself over the years. Anyone reading the forums can tell this game was not ready for consumer release, I mean if you want to put this on your site as a beta with the warning it is what it is that all well and fine, but you guy's have got boxes sitting on store shelves as finish products.

 

O.K. I'll wait until you guy's patch it up, but it just get's old & good games like this one are rare. It's just the same old thing, personally I'd like it if you didn't even say when the game was coming out that way maybe you wouldn't  feel pressured to release it. On the other hand if it's a money thing than I guess you gotta do what you gotta do & I can't blame you for that, my job wasn't to different.

 

Well anyway Hell of a game...stick with it but next time take it from a old fella PATIENCE !!

I totally agree that this is an unfinished product and, it may not seem like it, but I feel all these complaints are legitimate.  I myself have come across quite a few things that haven't sat well with me during my first play through.  I haven't come across any real major problems other then crashing a few times.  But thats nothing the auto save couldn't resolve.  Sure I lost a few turns every now and then but this also isn't the first game to crash on me :) 

 

When a game is released your expectation is that its ready, good to go no matter what you want to do with it.  I get that people become upset when something goes wrong and they feel it shouldn't have.  I've been there so many times before so I can accept this product the way it is while fully knowing it will be fixed soon enough.  If I didn't feel that StarDock would be fixing this product then I'd be right with you all who feel like you wasted your money.  All I'm saying is just keep holding on this game will get there and it's a lot closer then most of you want to believe. 

 

And yes that cat is awsome! lol
