Odd influence bug.

I have an odd bug early in the game where my starting city has ab extra 3x3 squares of influence/territory in addition to the 3x3 squares of influence/controlled territory centered on the town's actual location.

The additional 9 squares of territory just popped up centered around a "darkling" quest location that spawned near my town when I visited a nearby inn and picked up the quest.

I have seen something like this also, but in most cases it was well away from my city.  I haven't tried building anything on the area and once I finish the quest it goes away.

Update: saving the game, then quitting and re-loading fixed the problem (the added territory was not there upon re-load).
