When I cast teleport from a hero in a stack of troups, and when this hero is not the "main" troup (he is not the one that appears when I click on the stack), the spell don't works. I've got the graphical effect at the destination and the mana spent, but the troups don't move.
I had that problem too. Its even worse when you have one of your childs in the stack - supposed to be the leader and a random unit is the stack leader so you can't move the army around quick.
I pretty much have the same problem. At least it sounds like it. My wife, who can cast spells, is in a separate stack from my Sovreign. When he casts the Teleport spell, it works fine. When she casts it, I choose the destination, I hear the sound effect, mana is drained, but she nor the units in the stack move. Even when she is by herself she will not Teleport. I suspect this happens when any character other than the Sovreign casts Teleport.
That does happen sometimes. Try to close Elemental (so your memory gets wiped) and load the save. That solved the issue for me.
I'd like to know how to change who leads a stack. Much better to have my daughter or son leading them than some random guy.
Doesn't work for me. For me (1.07), when a non-stack leading hero (in my case, grandson) casts teleport, it doesn't work. The effect and mana drain happen, but nothing else. Removing the 'leader' from the stack (in this case, granddaughter - yay 1st cousins, just like medieval Europe), caused the spell to work correctly for me.
I've got the same issue but its seemingly random, sometimes if I move them 1 space and then cast the spell it works. I also notice I can't teleport out of a city, I always have to move out one space then cast the spell.
