[BUG] Town Hall not increasing prestige properly.

In my game I had just built Town Hall in my first City and nowhere where I can see is my prestige anything other than the +1 its been at since it was built.

So yeah either it's a bug or the town stats is bugged, where it shows food, gold, materials, population etc..

Inluding my save:  http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10708974/Faerun5.EleSav

Note: Town where it was built is called WaterDeep.

While you're looking at prestige, let's also mention the Sovereign's wife has (Royalty) and stationed there along with him.  And yes, still +1 prestige.

Town Halls dont increase prestige, they increase influence.

Wrong.  Prestige is the thingy with the cup.

So far only Palace and Pub increase those as the tooltips say.  Both Town Hall and Embassy do not, but their tooltips say they should.

The Town Hall, as its tooltip says, increases influence (ZOC), not prestige. From your save for example, I built one in one of your other towns. A couple of turns after completion, the ZOC bulged out an extra tile on the side of the city that the hall was built on.

Embassies generate diplomatic capital (check the resource tray at top). Diplomatic capital increases the value of your trades.

I am humbled.  Perhaps you can tell me how one is supposed to increase prestige then?  1 prestige = 1 citizen growth per turn.  pop level needed is 1250 = 1250 turns.  :S

For the Kingdoms it is the Pub and the Inn, and the one off Palace.

For the Empires there is a statue and potentially more but I found the tech tree for them crazy counter intutive.

I agree that having champions that increase prestige has never benefited me (though having a soverign that penalises does reduce it).
