Is anyone else thinking....

That this game is just flat out unplayable? I mean look at this list of bugs, most rendering the game usless, go back 3 pages and thats just todays and yesterdays.

Seriously, it looks like about 2 months work just to complie a list and gather the data, let alone fix anything.

This does not bode well.....

not me.. I am having fun.. but I respect your opinion..  I just disagree.

I disagree as well. I have had issues, e.g. slow downs and crashes, but I still keep playing - it must be good!

No.  The game is very playable.  INHO it is a lot of fun.   However, I respect your right to feel otherwise.

The last patch made it a LOT more stable.  Still buggy but playable.  I recommend setting the Auto Save to save at end of each turn.  That minimizes the damage when you do crash.

I haven't even managed to put in the last patch, don't want to lose my current game. I've got a massive war against Yithril that I'm not about to give up on for a patch! We have been slugging it out, although I think the AI is starting to show some need for improvement with my massive onslaught. At one point I had a city with 2300+ defense and Yithril hand about 1400+, but was reluctant to move forward until i finally built three large stacks, and Yithril moved in another one. It was fun, fun... Took the city but got much more to do to wipe out Yithril and Kraxis is to our west, I'm sure biding its time.

It was unplayable 2 patches ago, it is playable now, it will be great if they listen to half of the forums feedback and update a few things that still need work though.

I am still playing with the tile editor TBH. I have't time for such silly things as playing the game. I have only finished rebuilding three of the basic inmprovements. The game is going to change so much in the next few weeks I plan on really playing until they stop updating.

Same here but I have been spending all my time modding and seeing what I can accomplish with modding. So far Ive added a few techs in the magic tree to increase spell regen. Made a handly spell to summon your hero instead of recruiting some wandering npc that eats up system resources. Created a new faction, and now Im trying to work on modding this game into Master of Magic by modding the spell books.

My only real beef right now is the lack of documentation with modding, and concerning the bugs the game has gotten much better these past 2 patches and Im sure it wont be long until all the real bugs are dealt with.

i have had only a single bug, that wasn't game breaking at all.  it hasn't happened since 1.06.

I'm not sure what you mean by unplayable?  I can play no problem, there are balance issues, but those will get ironed out.  Some people seem to  be still having crashes, I'm lucky in the fact that it doesn't happen to me.

But, you are entitled to your own opinion.

Not unplayable here.  Seen some bugs - yes - had a few crashes.

Keep coming back for more.

Can't wait until it is more stable and some more AI / feature updates - but have seen worse in new games (and better too of course).

I'll have to disagree.  Not only is the game entirely playable, it's also pretty fun to boot!

If you're having issues, I suggest you post in the support forum and hopefully the community together with the Stardock-ians can help you solve it.  Threads like this do little to help.

Great to hear everyones thoughts on it glad to see it's positive.

Looking forward to playing when I can get it working.
