Fatal Error on install

Hello everyone.  I have tried contacting Stardock through their channels and have gotten no response at all.  My ticket is still out there. My question to you has anyone had a Fatal Error on installation of the game?  I purchased the Collector's Edition, and it will go through the complete install and then fail at the end.  I have tried everything I can think of and have had no luck at all.  Has anyone else seen this?  Is there a work around someone might know?

Had this problem initally

 

 

Just go to the elemtal folder and run the .exe file

 

you can also go on impulse and select to recognize a game installed on your system.

 

Either way you have to download the patches so it doesn't matter. This way wiill get the game running ot allow you to get to that point...

Thanks I will give this a shot.  I still have not heard back from customer support so I will try this.  I tried registering the game, but the code was not taking at all yesterday.

Well I have tried everything and still no luck.  Not sure if my copy is a bust or it is something else. I just wish I could hear back from Stardock.
