Please we need healing

How do I heal my units. Some don't seem to heal at all. The higher lvl ones heal WAY TOO SLOW if at all. If you can not get healing after a few battles your dead. Is this a bug? The game would be way better if they healed a lot quicker.

Units heal the quickest if they stand in your towns.
There's also heal spells if you research spellbooks and research high spell levels, though I have never tried them.

Like the above poster said, put them in a town and they'll regen quickly.

I would, however, be supportive of a "rest" option for units where they can regen health in the field, but perhaps take a 30% defense hit if they are attacked while resting.

you can also buy pork and healing potion at the shop :)

Units should heal slowly also in enemy territory.

What advantage does the medical pack give you when you upgrade a soldier to include it?

No, they shouldn't. Makes for more complex and cautious gameplay and you always have the option to buy items that will regen health on foreign soil.

Medical pack gives the unit 5 extra health.  Has no effect on Health Regen.

*edit* My bad, apparently MedPacks do effect health regen. Sorry.

If you research spell books you will get access to healing spells both Tactical and Strategic.

As stated above, some food gives you health when you eat it.  There is also a healing potions you can buy.  But moving every turn (never staying in one place for a turn or more) ususall does nothing but "heal" your mana.

There is healing magic, just dig into the magic tree.  I haven't actually used it, and it probably sucks as much as other magic, but it's there.

Actually, the medkit description and effect icons have +health and +regen, and I give medkits to all my units and they heal nicely, even outside of my influence.  When I park them inside cities to heal they heal up and refill (squads) to full strength at a decent pace.  I give one to my sov (or children who lead) too - just one - since I think the unlimited equipment thing is cheese - and I surely don't need any help beating up this game as it is.

last time i looked medikit was 5 extra health and 1 health Regen turn - a heal spells heals 5 points of health.  I've never tried a mass Heal. Healing Magic really needs to be revamped and made more powerful.  as do enchantments.  you should be able to create a ring of regeneration to heal at least one on a minor ring and 2 or 3 on a greater.    For a game about magic - magic is very under powered.

Yes, it's no fun teleporting back to your cities every other round, it sucks. Complex gameplay, don't make me laugh.
