Is the AI getting better?

Is it just me or is the AI getting smarter since this first came out?
Maybe its just random but for hte first 4 games I was going pretty good, not big HUGE challenges really, but my game today I started on 1.06... wow.. its like the other faction and the wild creatures are out in full force! They just took one of my cities! I could not belive it! hehe.

Either this was just random or they are getting smarter

I enjoy how each game ive played so far as been totally differnt (though the first 4 where not that challenging).

It seemed like before the other factions just sat there and only really saw them when i attacked or when they wanted some trade/talk stuff. Then this time they are all attacking me bringing 3 differnt groups with them lmao

Anyways, if there was any work done on the AI for 1.06 then good work, if not then maybe this is my first time seeing what the AI really can do

I would agree with a bunch of posters that said it could do with a lift in difficulty, but todays game was a nice challenge I must say.

Now I am contemplating having some more rounds.. or to go to bed hehe.

Anyone else notice an increase in difficulty or any random games that the Ai acted completely differnt in?
