Children, after your Sov is married..

Hey All,

Another newbish like question, so forgive me, but Children, I'm aware that once you're married, and you send your Wife back to town, eventually she'll produce children, however, is that the only way?

For example, I was thinking of a making an awesome party of a husband-wife combo, so they will be constantly leveling, but will the wife be able to have children while traveling, or it's only possible while in the Town? (Which is the other thing I find ironic, since she's having children in the Town, and I'm never there, ;) )

thanks,

It matters little where your wife is, she'll have kids regardless. The reason people recommend sending her to town is to avoid her death. If your wife dies, you don't get another.

lol,

ok figured as much, yep, I understand it's a risk, but I'm also hoping for a better reward in end as if the Wife levels up as much as yourself, then your children should techinally have even better stats no matter which gender they are, at least that's that the thought which I'm going to try in my next game.

thanks,

Yeah, my sovereign travels around with his wife.

And the kids are bugged or something, because damn, they came out awesome... Sixty essence? What? :P It's great because as soon as one comes of age, they just summon up a whole friggin' army in one turn. Guard units? What are those? I just have one of those kids guarding a city with an army of summons. This frees up my companies of well armed and ridiculously expensive troops to go around with sovereign and wife and roll everyone.

It is not a GREAT idea to travel with your spouse until your children are born unless you're really confident of your army's abilities. At this stage you cannot replace a dead spouse (Please, please think of amending that, Stardock)
