Elemental - no longer able to use saved games after last update 1.06

I've been playing the campaign and after installing the latest update (1.06) I now get the message "Warning Unable to load gamesave because it is not compatible with the current version." So I was wondering if this is correctable or not before I start over.

Just found out someone had posted this problem earlier. I swear I looked before I posted but apparently not hard enough. sorry.

According to the Game Spot reviewer, he was disappointed that the game when it updated was not conpatiable with previous saves.
