Lack of tactical battles

All of a sudden this evening, i was partly through a new game and every time i clicked on an enemy it auto-resolved without ever giving me an option for tactical. Any guesses as to why? Is this a known bug?

Please check your "Tactical Battle Threshold" option. The new update resets your preferences when it installs (which will not happen with future updates).

Change it to 0 if you want every battle to bring up the attack window where you can choose to auto-resolve or do a tactical battle.
