Patch 1.06 won't load

I am trying to update elemental but patch status become Retrying at ~55% and go up very very slow and now it stuck at 73.4% for an hour and it become error. There are other people posting the same problem on the patch thread but no one seem to know why.

I also have a similar issue, but I am only getting the retrying on all of the computers that have elemental installed.

I have 5.38mb, 6.93mb, 4.65mb, and 4.83mb of the 9.43mb download, all of the computers are my personal property, mostly for software development & testing.

chugasrevenge, the ONLY location for the update IS impulse .

and as you are  also useing the cross pacific fibres they might be the point of failure, but we are posting on the forum which is also in north america, so that buggers that idea, and my downloads are STILL at 73.5%

Confirmed. :( Stalled at 6.93Mb. I'm using Westnet as my service provider.

nayphen also from Australia but got the update, also BoogieBac said there is a hot fix coming up very soon.

Same issue here as noted above. Eventually I get to 75%, but then encounter an 'error' and it halts the update.

apparently the hotfix is up as the subversion number on the update changed from 1.06.18 to 1.06.19

Sydney Aus through iiNet, can't even get the download started.

Btw a new updated is up, is now 9.46MB in totally and it should restart but i still stuck at 5.72MB in the new one. ><

Try pausing the download, then click resume. That sometimes jump starts it. For those of you in Australia, there's two servers down under in Perth and Sydney. However, it's possible that the data is still syncing across the network.

I might go back and play some CIV4 FFH and wait a week or two more on this one.

No more pre ordering a stardock game for me.

I downloaded only 5.72mb before it went to retrying, also tried the pause wait a few seconds then resume, but no dice, just retrying. will leave the comps to download while I go & fix some customer problems

The new update works perfect to begin with, but again crawls to a halt at 5.72mb. I've attempted the pause/resume and cancel/resume options, but nada. Cheers for the update on the server issue Yarlen, sounds like that may be behind it.

Thanks for the info. Nice to know someone is monitoring things through your night-time. :)

Is there any way we can bypass the Sydney server and load directly from the USA? Something ain't right.

I've cancelled the download and started again. Now stalling at 5.71Mb.
