Does 1.06 require a restart?
I've tried two saved games, they load but, can't move any unit or click on next turn button!
Update: Fixed!
Loaded saved game, then resaved to a new file, reload new saved game!
my saved games (from an earlier version, after updating to 1.6) would not even load and crashed the game
Yes they have said that the vast majority of the time you'll have to start a new game.
We tried to maintain compatibility with the pre-1.06 save games, but some people were still having trouble. The refreshed 1.06 tonight will not load prior saves. We are trying to keep that invalidation of previous saves to a minimum, but it didn't work out this time.
