Mouse pointer error on load-up

When I first load "Elemental: War of Magic" and arrive at the main menu, my mouse pointer get stuck at the top my screen.  To regain control, I must left click.  Then the game automatically minimizes.  Then I must click on the game icon on the task bar and I am once more found at the main menu and all works normally.

Setting your taskbar to autohide or moving it to the bottom of the screen should work around this until we find a solution.

It does not bother me in the least.  But I want to help in finding bugs in "Elemental: War of Magic" and getting the game in a solid mode.  Then I can get my friends to buy it and play it in multiplayer mode.  I'm not saying I have that many friends who wish to play it, but there are a few.  There is that and the fact that I am in love with this game.  Thank you for a quick response! :')
