Campaign difficulty

Is there a way to change the difficulty in the campaign/story mode?

I only wonder because I enjoy fantasy based stragety games (another big fan of MoM) but frankly I suck at them.

I know when making a new sandbox game you can choose the difficulty, but if you can't in the campaign mode and if it eventually ramps up I might just stick to sandbox games instead of wasting my time on the campaign.

Of course it's still a bit difficult for me figuring out how to do what and what I can actually do in the game, nevermind proper stragety.

I look forward to getting some nice champions (including a spouse) and so cool looking magic under my belt.
