Empire

Me and a friend were playing with his copy of Elemental: War of Magic, and we can make a Kingdom no problem...  But we are unable to X the box for Empire, we can slect the race have them be Death Worshipers but no empire check box and if you save a faction with Death Worship its still a Kingdom...

We were hoping some one knew how to make a Empire...

On a side note How do you delete a Kingdom you made I can not see a way...

The update said they've disabled Empire for now due to some problems, I think. I, too, would like to know how to delete a created faction.

if you go into Documents/mygames/Elemental/Race you should see the XML files for races you have created, just delete them to remove them from your game... tho I agree there really should be a clear option within the game itself to do this.

what i'm more interested in... is why the pre-made factions have so few boxes ticked... do their extra points contribute to something else? for that matter, does the extra points in sov creation just goes missing?

 

as for delete faction... maybe try right clicking it? someone else found that works for sov.. maybe it might work for factions.

right clicking wont work. 

 

I did delete my factions after that one post about documents>mygames>elemental>races. all your created factions should be there.

You can make your kingdom an Empire faction but you've gotta edit the XML files manually and change the triggers. I compared the empires in the coreraceconfig.XML file in the main directory to the new one and made the appropriate changes.

Thank you very much we see them there now, we got the update today that lets you make Empires, but even if you change the name, when you save it it still has the defelt created name as the saved Empire...  Some thing I guess they will have to patch...

 And I just noticed my old saved game is not loaded in the updated version, not happy about that... Six hours lost...
