I've bought the limited edition, but it wasn't shipped yet!

Nor does Stardock give any feedback why!

I've pre-ordered the limited edition on July 10th.

I found it a little bit weird and unintuitive to find my order history. I became worried at game launch, as I received no feedback: the site doesn't say anything about my order status, nor I received any email.

I've wrote to [email protected] and received an automatic reply, asking my to wait until 2 business days for a reply. Two days passed, no reply.

 

WHAT'S GOING ON WITH MY ORDER?! WHY CAN'T I HAVE ANY FEEDBACK ABOUT ITS STATUS? WHY DIDN?T SALES DEPARTMENT REPLY WITHIN THE 2 BUSINESS DAYS AS PROMISSED?

 

I know Stardock is overwhelmed with bugs feedback and fixing the game, but I think at least the sales department should say something. They are not being professional.

 

I'm very disppointed. I won't order anything from Stardock EVER again!

Hi Angelo,

I am not sure why the sales staff has not responded to your inquiry yet, however,  I have checked on your order status and your copy of Elemental has indeed shipped.  And, since the shipment is overseas it may take a little time to get there.

AngeloBraz, have you checked your spam or junkmail folder? About 1 out of every 5 or 6 from Stardock end up there under my gmail account for some odd reason.

Hello,

Your order was shipped via USPS Priority Mail. I do not have a tracking number for the package. Please allow 3-5 business days for it to arrive.

She didn't say when it was shipped, but knowing it was shipped it's ok to me. I'll let you know when it arrives.

If you allow me, here's a couple of things that could be re-designed in impulse's store website:

 

- Right now, I have to click "View Cart" to acess the option to login. I had to figure that out alone, not very intuitive.

- There should be a order status option, just like in any online store nowaday. The we could check if it was being processed, shipped, delivered, etc. with all correspondent dates.

I still have not gotten a email about my pre-order nor shipping. I have also sent a email into the [email protected] address...............

 

This is quite dissapointing especially since some stores are already carrying the thing. Stardock could at least provide a place or way to check on our pre-order status or to make certain we are on the list. It would be different if I could cancel and make certain I can get a Ltd Edition at the store but since I was in beta they charged immediately :/

Today is the 5th business day (if it were sent in the same day I got the email I've shown above), or 7th if it was sent in the release day.

 

I'm really hoping to receive it at least tomorrow!

 

Anyone else received the limited edition in Europe?

If you haven't gotten a shipping message and it's not in your spam folder, please contact [email protected] for information.

International orders are shipping via USPS International First Class so it may take some time for them to arrive.

I got an email confirming it was shipped on the original release date. I live in Canada but it still hasn't arrived. Who knows. Hope it will be here soon. I was told 1 to 3 weeks so I still have a week and a half to go.

It didn't arrive today :(

 

I didn't receive an automatic email. Only after inquiring I received the email you can read a few posts above. There she said 3-5 business days, but those are long gone. Crossing fingers for tomorrow.

 

I'm very disapointed.

To all those who plan on getting a refund, make sure you have everything ready up front.

This means the game's serial number, your hardware and OS specs, descriptions of the problems and how to reproduce, a .zip containing all the logs produced by the SDSupportTool.exe, and maybe a few of the .zip files found in C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic that follow this format:

 Elemental1_06-2010-08-27T15-44-05-132.zip

The support team will stall as long as possible on a full refund, often offering the 75% option as a quick fix, but be consistent and insist that you want the full refund.  It isn't as easy and quick as others say.  The game is obviously broken technically and I've posted a few times about my issues but I'm still being asked for logs and such by tech support, who clearly do not want to approve my refund.

Got an answer from support, for some reason my order was only shipped on the 1st of september (Why 9 days  after launch? Not quite sure why on that one...)  Although I never got an email confirming said shipment... Was told it'd take 1-3 weeks and that there was no tracking number =/. 

Oh well, at least they did reply fast to me.

galaad, I was told my order was shipped on the 31st only one day before yours, was also told the same info regards shipping time & tracking, and like you I also did not receive any emails about the shipping.

What they didn't tell you is that it's shipped USPS (regular mail) rather than a courier service like UPS or Fedex.  Sadly, that means anyone outside the US may be waiting a while for their delivery. The delivery fees are rather outrageous as well since it's snail mail. Could probably have sent it cheaper by other means.

I've received today an email saying that it was shipped September 1st (on August 26th they said it was sent to me too...) and it could take 1-3 weeks to arrive.

 

I guess I'll have to wait until the end of the month... If it all.

angelobraz, my ship date according to the customs documentation was the 31st of august, and stardock had replied to my query with the 31st as the ship date.

and my scheduled date was the 24th, with the print date of the 26th and received on the 7th of september across the dateline.
