[BUG] Faction editor won't use my race

I've created two factions through the editor, both an empire and a kingdom, trying to use a custom race.  In both cases, I found that my custom race name had replaced Trogs in the race selection, and the factions end up using just Trogs by the time I get to the faction selection screen.

As a side note, I made them egalitarian and the male units can't equip most armors and weapons.
