sORRY BUT i AM NOT A FAN OF THESE STEAM TYPE SCHEMES

When I buy a game I do not want to be shackled to one of these schemes. I did not like the idea of having to come here and register just to update a game I bought at BEST BUY. I may complain about it. I will not buy any games here this is crap. I also don't want to HAVE to LOG IN to play anything that is not an online game. I will try to avoid games that use this system. This game I bought BETTER BE GOOD.

Not only that, but you don't HAVE to log in to play the game. Only if you want updates. Or play multiplayer, but thats kind of obvious.

Which is the same thing. He'd have to make an Impulse account to log in to post, which is the same as a forum account.

further more why do i have to go to the gas station in order to get gas...i mean i bought the car...why doesn't it gas itself...why the extra unnecessary step? 8C

 

 

btw chief,you dont have to register as said here..once you get your updates you can close impulse and be done with it.I hope you dont plan on getting civ5...your gonna be really really angry lol

I've always been a supporter of Steam. However, their DRM has approached idioticness recently. Now you have to go online in order to turn on offline mode. This means that if you lost your internet access for a brief period you can't play your games offline until your internet access is restored. I recently lost my stable internetz, and I couldn't play a single one of MY games! Ridiculous! This is freaking Assassin's Creed 2 bad! My Steam is in offline mode permanently, which means I won't ever see any steam sales that I might buy.
