Thanks Brad and Co.

Just wanted to thank the dev team for a fun game. I know you guys put a lot of work into it.

Is the game buggy? Yes. Is it nearly as bad as that PCG article makes it out to be? No. As I said on there website, I didn't see any articles headlined, "DISASTROUS STARCRAFT 2 LAUNCH, GAME WILL MELT YOUR VIDEO CARD: STAY AWAY." I think it's just more proof of how the video game media, even PCG, is heavily influenced by big companies like Activision and EA that pump out massive AAA titles with production values far surpassing those of smaller companies like Stardock.

I never saw a headline proclaiming just how glitchy Modern Warfare 2 was, only unanimous praise for a game that a few weeks later lost a fair portion of its serious gamers.

Point is, I appreciate your support of the PC gaming community, guys. I appreciate the effort you put into this game, and I know its only going to get better with time. Right now I'm having lots of fun with it. I feel bad for Brad because of the quote thats going to spam the internet now, thanks to that tool over at PCG.

But don't worry, Stardock. Even if the reviews for the game are bad- which I'm feeling they might be- you still have your fanbase thats gonna stick around with ya!

I agree, I am having so much fun with this game, more then I ever expected.

I also have not had ANY crashes in 6 hours of playing.... sure there are some AI issues and the archer problem pissed me off yesterday, but so what.

Everything is in place for an excellent series, cant wait to see what mods come out for this game.

I agree, this game is quite awesome and I don't really see where all the hate for it is coming from. You guys really did good on this one. And about the whole QT3 fiasco, I think that whole thing is really stupid. You have the right to insult him if he's being that big of a douche to you. I know if I was in that position, I would've said a lot worse.

1. I second that.

2. That's a modest understatement. (I wonder how many hours of sleep some of them had last night, when preparing 1.05.016).

3. The media are not merely "influenced", they are dominated : by insider perks, special access, more advertisement money.

They have jsut gained a new lifetime fan with me.

I just can't get enough of this game :andrew:

Its a very ambitous game made by a smaller group, they deserve some props imo

Instead of putting out more crap like alot of devs are doing and playing it safe, Stardock is reaching for the skies and making something with tons of depth and very fun.

Keep up the good work!

I too appreciate their hard work. If not for companies like Stardock and Paradox, the kinds of games I want to play would never get made. I don't think that "review" is an example of anything more than someone trying out Elemental and realizing that although it is playable, it is not yet a game.

Love your game, love the effort you guys put in.

I'm recommending it to all my friends, so screw pcg.

For great success!

I agree, great game, thanks for the effort your team has and is still are putting into it.

I stopped reading PCG due to the over influence of the big gaming companies.

Definitively confirm this!

Not only do these guys create amazing games, but their feedback, fixing, response times are very good indeed! Add this to not playing along with this moronic DRM stuff, and I dare say I've been a big fan for a long time. Looks like MOM 2 has come out after all :-D

Thanks, chaps! It is really very much appreciated!

(Except that you bastards just made me waste 10 hours. In a row!)

Ciao,

Klaus
