Wrong Resources Spawning in Campaign?

I'm on a campaign I started, and I'm at the point in Book 1 where I have to remove an ogre, build a town, get 25 crystal and trade it to Carrodus (I think).

However, the mines by the ogre's camp are both Iron mines! Is my campaign hosed?

There should be a farmable tile and a crystal node right between the two iron ores.

Oddly, it didn't spawn until my city hit level 2. Weird.
