Negative cash flow

I'm about 60 turns into the game and just noticed that I now have a negative cash flow.  I've checked buildings and units, but i can't see where anything has some sort of upkeep value.

What is causing me to have my negative cash flow and what do I need to do to put me in the black again?

Thanks.

Units have upkeep per turn... even peasants... so you might be getting negative cash flow for that. I didn't notice this unti later. A warning about negative cashflow might be nice in the future.

Yep.. what he said above.. Units require an upkeep in cash.. You go to much in the red and they will abandon the city....

Yeah, I just discovered the "Kingdom Report" and it had wages as -.7.  So that appears to be it.  And soon after i saw that some of my forces had defected.  So question answered.

I do have another one though.  Should you be able to see the kingdom reports of all the other AI plyaers as well?  That seems kinda strange to me that i can keep tabs on them in this way.

Note that all units have the same upkeep (Peasants are the same as Royal Knights). This is one big minus to "quantity versus quality" (beyond that they have identical building times and tactical map punishes quantity).

Heroes/Champions and Summons do not have an upkeep cost. One of the reasons why the Book of Summoning was super-OP (lots of other reasons that just that, mind you).

Wages are based on training cost. It's displayed in the unit training popup along with the other stats.

I am curious about this as well, shouldnt I only see this if I had some sort of spy planted?.  I am having a great time playing this game...bugs included.  Stardock will get it squared away in the end.  That was the plan anyways. :)
