Rotate the map?

Hi,

I've read elsewhere in the forums that to rotate the map you must use the middle mouse button.  My mouse does not have a middle mouse button (I have a wheel but no button).  From what I saw in the beta, there doesn't appear to be a keyboard combination that will allow you to rotate the map.

It seems trivial to add a CTRL-Right click option for map rotation or something (for laptops especially).

Am I missing something?  Can this be added through a mod maybe?  Or am I just out of luck?

(BTW, I've downloaded SetPoint to see if it can simulate the right click - it can't)

Um....can you pushdown on your wheel?  Most mice have that feature.

Ctrl+arrow keys can rotate in a pinch.

Hi Bosso,

There is a keyboard shortcut for rotating the camera.  CTRL + Arrow keys.

Ah good.  I can press my mousewheel but it's carpal inducing and something I try to avoid.  Usually I remap anything tied to pushing the mousewheel to the ~ key instead.  I don't suppose this can be remapped?  Like, holding down ~ and using mouse to rotate works pretty well for me.

For some, the game's ability to use mousewheel as a rotate button is broken. Hoping they fix this soon. In the meantime, I have a work around in another post https://forums.elementalgame.com/391673 that may be helpful if you encounter the problem.
