How to increase 'our notables level'?

Hi,

During my game i ran into a problem - there are level 2 notable locations on the map now, but my 'notable level' is stuck at 1 (sovereign is level 4 or so) - how do i increase it so i can explore the level 2 notable locations? Research something? I tried researching adventuring, its level 3 now or so, but 'out notables level' in kingdom info is still 1...

I guess it is your reputation, not skill level. The same used when finding a bride that thinks you're good enough for her?

 

Anyways, think it's increased by solving quests, and perhaps winning battles helps as well. Not quite sure.

Thats something else. 'our reputation' is a separate stat on the kingdom info page. It's currently at 6.4 for me.

no, its not your reputation, there are certain techs in the Adventuring tree that up your notable level, same as there are others for your questing level. im not sure which ones specificaly tho. felt a little random to me and it doesn;t say anywhere.

Researching the Quests line in particular should raise it, it isn't based on Adventure tech level in general.
