So... elementium...

I found some of that too and i would like to second your question with an added I have no idea...

I was in the beta and I have no clue what "elementium" is.

There are some very rare items that can make use of it.

How on earth did you acquire that?

You need it to equip your units with the top items. The best weapons and armor require elementium.

All I know is that it's different from the enchanted crystal things.

You need Elementium for certain powerful magic items.

Maybe if you gather enough it reaches critical mass and explodes. Oh, wait that's uranium 

Joking aside, that's why we need more thorough documentation. I know you folks are doing your best and working like crazy these days, but some things need to be clarified.

After enough magical research (wordly knowledge that is) I could equip my soldiers with legendary shields which required 1 elementium each. Tell me where you got yours

It seems to be a 100% drop chance from certain lv4 Notable Locations. If you rush adventuring tech, you can be swimming in it by turn 100.

Yeah, I've been going nuts in my current game looking for this stuff. Of course, I *also* haven't found horses... My initial spawn point was near a Warg den (yay), but since I'm a Kingdom (Queendom?) I have no use for them. Pardian(sp?) has horses though, so I bought some off of them. Anyway, no sign of Elementium yet and I've conquered quite a large part of imperial territory.

I want my legendary shields!

Level the Quest tech line a ton, and then go around looking for domed building-ish things. You won't leave unsatisfied!

Hmm... I've researched past the ancient maps one. I had been neglecting quests tech because of the wars with two imperials. My sov marches around with an ARMY of soldiers and summons that stomps imperial cities.

Our soldiers should have a party together!

Ouch. I haven't gotten *that* far. My game has become too unstable to continue presently (crashes every 2 to 10 turns). I'm usually building companies of longbow wielding soldiers with no armor, backed up by parties of longsword wielding light plate clad front line troops. Sometimes these are still individuals (like in the sov's army), because the army hasn't been back home in *years*.

Get yourself a Company of Drath :}.

Oh and about elementium.  You need to to make legendary shields(10 def 15 dodge) and the super weapons.  The other legendary plates come from top end magic research.
