I believe the current version is "Gold++", a sort of pre-day 0 post release build. Tomorrow, in theory, the official Day 0 patch goes up.
If you run the game, or open Impulse- it will prompt you when there's an update.
I wouldn't expect one until LATE tonight at the earlier. Maybe try tomorrow morning. I just hope Stardock doesn't have to pay night differential.
Yeah it's coming today. Unless you're a socialist European then tomorrow. But if you're a God Fearing American then its today.
Technically it should be today though it's quite late in the day (relatively speaking). Nothing to do but clench your teeth and wait.
We Europeans kind'a get the better deal here. There's no sense in waiting, I can just go to sleep and have a day0 patch with my morning coffee. Ahh the joy. So good night and good gaming :E
It's too early to sleeeeep. And I have to go to work tomorrow. This means that I have to play the pre-0-day patch today and then wait until the same time tomorrow to get my patched goodness

Kind of off the subject and belongs in the off topic political thread, but Americans aren't exactly so God fearing these days... We fear being out of fashion or missing the latest American Idol episode instead of God, whom we should fear (unless you don't believe in him of course). We reap what we sow. Just sayin'
actually, if it was coming out today, it should technically be a day 1 patch because this is the first day of availability of the game. a day 0 patch would mean the patch would be available and ready BEFORE the launch of the game which is obviously not the case since the game came out today and still no patch.
Programmers start counting from 0, and since Frogboy is such a beastie, Stardock counts as such. 
Sorry for my mis-understanding the day of the day 0 patch. Frogboy making his post on August 24th (albeit at 12:30 AM) and saying that it would be out tomorrow confuzzled me. 
I'm still downloading the original release. I hope that won't be interrupted and I can just download a patch rather than having to download the whole thing again. 
Only 45k/s connection here, so it's some 12 hours or so.
