Have I finished the Campaign?

Just wondering if I've passed the entire campaign, seemed very very short. I just passed the obsidian wall thing and defeated the dragon, and it told me I'd completed it and took me back to the main menu, so it seems like it's done. But it was short, and the campaign menu describes that section as Book 1: Relias. So, have I finished the campaign?

Same here, is this meant to be all for now? Or is it simply not advancing (bug)?

book 1 is the tutorial (or so I have heard).  The non campaign game should keep you busy for at least the same again - per game!

Well, the first book took around 3, maybe 4 hours for me. And the cut scene strongly implies  that there is another chapter (as does the naming, Book 1: Relias in the menu).

Well, yes, I know that the meat of the game is in the non-campaign sandbox. I was just wondering if I had gotten to experience the whole campaign as it exists at the moment, or if there was a bug that prevents me (and some others) from advancing in it.

That's what made me think it wasn't finished too Avatar1983. It seems like a good game, but if that's the entire campaign that's very disappointing.

the next 2 books are yet  to be released... as will be player made campaigns..

It would be a little disappointing, but it's not a massive issue for me. After all, I usually  play the campaign once, and then sandbox forever more. I just want to know for sure!

Disappointing? Master of Magic didn't even have a campaign and it's the #1 fantasy strategy game of them all. So quit complaining and get down to playing the real campaign of the game the Sandbox game on epic level huge map and maximum ai opponents. Then when you beat that in 8 hours you can come back complaining. lol

I would be ok with no campaign in these type of games.  Let the devs focus on making a quality game.  Modders can make campaigns.

There really isn't any need for that, I was just disappointed by the lack of campaign. I don't care that Master of Magic didn't have a campaign but was considered good, I'm not playing that am I, and I didn't realise having a legitimate concern about the game was considered complaining.

Brad is releasing more campaign chapters in the coming months he has said. AND if you choose to buy Elemental: Destiny's Embers you will be getting a 3 part bonus campaign as well. The first part of that is due out in September. If you didn't know.

Book 1: Relias is the tutorial campaign that comes with the game.

Book 2: Magesta will come later.  It doesn't come with the game because, frankly, I want to write it myself because I didn't get to be involved on Book 1 and it's my story!

I was confused if I had hit a bug thinking that the second act didn't fire.

A place holder for "Magesta" saying "coming soon" or "TBD" would be good.

Ah that's fair enough, yeah I don't mind at all if more is coming, it was just like "You've finished book 1!", then "Where the fuck is book 2?". Great game anyway.

I think it was a fine campaign, a little short and yes it seems like theres more to come since it was book 1. Just have to get used to only basic compleatet games at release and then more content to come. All in All a good tutorial campaign, tho i would have liked a bit more help to begin with.

That was a tutorial? For whom? For people, who have already played Elemental for days and weeks, no longer in need for a tutorial? Come on ...

The campaign has much more detailed help and tutorial messages throughout in the launch-day update released last night.

So that is what is going on XD I was sitting there dumb founded after the cutscene thinking my game glitched because it didn't record me finishing Book 1.

Looking forward to Book 2 :) Keep up the good work.
