[1.0][Crash][Fails to start]

from Elemental Forums

When I run Elemental black screen appears for a second, then I'm thrown back to desktop. I've got this problem since my first launch of beta. The exact same issue is described here, here, here and in couple of beta-threads.

I've tried:
- Installing the latest video drivers and DirectX
- Deleting all Elemental files and directories, reactivating in Impulse , reinstalling Elemental.
- Deactivating antivirus and firewall
- Running Elemental from different places
- Playing with resolution and fullscreen settings in the prefs.ini

I had problems in beta to. Helped when I changed to windowed mode.

lol wtf is this...

game for me just go to loading screen..sits there doing nothing

I close ATI tools and it works
