Love the game but have a few questions

Hey all.  Elemental RULES.

With that out of the way, I have some questions.

1.  I thought this was supposed to be a really low-end friendly game... well, I have a pretty sweet computer, StarCraft 2 runs like a dream with everything all the way up, and yet with everything all the way DOWN on elemental it runs like crap!  What gives?

2.  I'm glad there's a quick move on terrain (although part of me wishes it wasnt quite INSTANT, but just super quick, so I could see the movement path), but why not in combat?  Is there some secret special combat-options menu I don't know about?  It's even MORE important in combat than it is on the overmap, to me.

3.  Is there a "next unit" hotkey?

4.  Can I bind a stack of units to a hotkey?  You can in Civ and in StarCraft, that'd be nice to have here.
