So I have not gotten to play much but I've got one goody already:
So I've got Magnar for a neighbor and he is being surprisingly friendly given our alligiances, inviting me to send over caravans and all that. Of course once I do he decides to attack me, which is cool, let's call it deception. Good strategy.
Well right about that time I had started construction of a team of 4 mace wielding, heavily armored warriors, but they would not be built in time to stop his armies... so he hits me with one more or less equal to my town. My town was nothing but "peaceful" recruits (a farmer, a merchant, a scholar) and my main character with a sand golem. Also I had maybe a couple of really primitive archers and peasants.
So we repell the attack despite equal numbers, because we have walls of course. Then he hits me with another group equal to mine, and we win. This happens once more and finally he shows up with his own group. I say "well it is ok if I lose, I need to go to bed anyways" but BAM, his soldiers die and he is left standing alone outside my town. I send out my sand golem and all of a sudden Magnars entire empire is gone.
Any crazy A.I. stories of suicidal tyrants or impossibly tough foes?
Also It should be cool when a mod makes the sovereings less "do or die" by having you wipe out all towns or all nobles instead. I want to be able to kill a king but still have to fight the kingdom like in my favorite game (Medieval Total War 2).
