Game always crashes after selecting opponents, before turn 1

I can select avatar and select opponents and then push play, so it starts generating map I guess, but crashes right after that.. always

Your video drivers are very old--try updating to the latest ones from nVidia.

I did update video drivers, that did not help, it still crashed.

But, playing with Video options, seems that Font Smoothing ON is what crashes the game for me. Turning it OFF worked for me and now I can play it finally
