Town Improvement Bug

I conquered an enemy town with an improvement under construction (oasis).

The building was still under construction after I took over. The improvement finished and I got the food.

BUT the oasis now has the enemy border around it and my border is broken and noncontinuous.

The borders adjust according to prestige. If the enemy town has more prestige than you their border will start pushing yours, and vice versa. Improvements will switch controllers depending on whose border they're in.

If you want the oasis back research civics and start building town halls, pubs and similar prestige generating buildings. Alternatively, train an army and go raze the enemy city, whichever you prefer ;)

The town that was building the improvement was taken over by me. There is no other enemy town nearby. The oasis was located in an adjacent square to the town. I do have ownership of the improvement (i got the resource: 6 food) but somehow the improvement inherited the border of the faction that started the construction. I cannot demolish the improvement either cause "it will make your town noncontiguous".
