Repeated Crashes - Debug and Crash Files In Post

First, I want to say that the procedure for reporting crashes is more difficult than it should be.

My game is crashing every time I play it, within 10 turns or so.  There is no pattern that I can see.  It crashed once after a tactical battle when my sovereign was killed.  It crashed another time when ending the turn.  And it finally crashed a third time when accepting the midnight stone quest.

Here is my pastebin link to my debug file:

Here are the two crash files I could find.

I have nothing else to say about these crashes, except that I think I'm done trying to play for the day.

This might be related to anti-aliasing.

I turned that off and it has run for 110 straight turns.

What would cause that though?

You're running year-old video drivers-- try the latest from nVidia.

Will try new drivers, but I find it hard to believe this game is taxing them because everything else runs quite well.

It has nothing to do with taxing them. If drivers were bug-free they wouldn't release so many new versions ;)

I have the same problems and I re-installed my PC with the latest drivers a month ago!

I would post my files, but I cannot attach them in this forum and have no idea how to do it using pastebin, so alas...

Perhaps I stand corrected (fingers crossed).

150+ turns in a row, no crash.

I had two crashes after using the new video drivers.

One occurred when loading an autosave and the second occurred when exiting (so it didn't really matter).

Is there any chance someone could look at my file above and confirm it was the video drivers causing those crashes?  I can't make any sense out of the debug file or the weird crash zips.

I played last night for about 3 hours and got about 5 game crashes at various stages of the campaign. I am running pretty recent video drivers. I have not upgraded to 1.01 yet.

The devs are going through all of the reports.

Yep, the first two were definitely in the the graphics driver.  The third one is a crash that we fixed in the 1.01 patch that went up last night, but you may as well wait for tonight's patch because we still need to find an end of turn crash.

I've turned off fullscreen to get around that bugaboo (aka 100% CTD rate when alt-tabbing) but still crash by turn 25ish maximum.

Here's my error file.
