Hi All,

   Do Caravans do anything other than build roads between their origin city and their destination city? Is there some info source somewhere that I am missing (wiki, manual, ingame) that would explain this sort of thing?

Once you've established a trade route, the traders generate additional resources for you.

If you click on one of the traders (they'll be running along the road) it shows you in the unit card what they're trading.

Do they just give resources, or do they also give you some guildar/gold? I have a surplus of resources but very little gold (my level 2 city is making about 2.4 gold every turn).
