Little Help

So finally i started to play the game (and i love it very nice game needs some more polishing but very nice for the first version :D)

I need some help about the performance

i play the game on amd x4 620 4gb of ram geforce 220 or something like that (vista x64)

 

after like 10 turns or so it start to work little slower the fps drop and i cant check my memory usage because ctr alt delete makes the game crash :(

 

1)what can i do here to make it work better ?

2)what are the best option to play the game on netbook ?

3) not related to performance , how the hell do i find a women to marry there are simple no champions wandering around

found 2 girls 1 asked for 1500g at the beginning so i killed here the other one moved faster then me and she got away

its a shame i cant marry my enemy's daughter :( and any other way to find a women to marry the sov ?

1. Try playing on a smaller map, reducing the factions or lowering the game options

 

2. I suspect the "netbook" option in the options screen might help

 

3. Diplomacy research will let you arrange marriages with other empires, failing that you can try finding a wandering adventurer. Some quests also allowed you to find a bride, at least in the beta - if you get an "escort noblewoman" quest you can propose to her.
