Trouble with my saved games.

I am having some trouble with my saved games.  I did do an uninstall of the Beta before I downloaded Elemental.  I was saving my files under the name "temp".  After the 2nd battle with the darklings at the beginning of the campaign I messed up and went to reload my save.  It was gone, my autosave was not correct, it did not even have the same starting city. Previous autosave had yet another starting city, nothing was the same as the campaign I was currently playing. I had a saved file called test, but that was from the beta.....

I'm having trouble with my LOAD GAMES from within the game. I have a lot of save spots so as not to lose it all if I lose one. But, when I do go back to LOAD a saved game it CTD's. I then restart the game and it WILL LOAD but after having to go through CTD's each time.

In the elemental save folder I have 4 files.  Autosave, previous autosave, End of chapter 1 save, and temp save.

 

On the load screen I have:

Autosave, previous autosave, and test (which I think was from my last beta game).  Can't access the saves in the save folder.

Campaign saves are stored separately from sandbox saves. You can load them from the campaign screen.

I haven't played the beta but got my pre-order release and when I try to load my game:

a) It eighter crashes or

b ) It loads but with no towns or my sovereigns.(I am on Act 3 - campaign mode)

c) When I try and alt+tab to post on forums game crashes.

 

very disappointing atm.
