Uh, best buy content?

So i watched that video of the guy who got the game on youtube, and he mentioned that people who buy it at bestbuy get exclusive content.  What content is he talking about?

I just hate these exclusive content deals, I show my support to pre-order through stardock way before release date and I get a we're sorry you should have bought it through bestbuy instead so have a nice life missing out on exclusive content.

I think he got confused between that and the book

No it says "Best buy Exclusive content", I already know about the book and have that pre-ordered too, but I'm not going to buy Elemental all over again just for best buy content which I can't seem to find any info about.

Wow, that is that a shameless way of luring people to buy at BestBuy? There was absolutely no talk of any exclusive content here yet and the thing looks very much like a fake.

As far as I know, Best Buy doesn't have any special content. It certainly isn't mentioned on their website. Although granted, their website is completely F---ed up in regards to Elemental. It lists a different publisher and has no pics, but the prices for it and the limited edition are right, and the real release date (8/24) is also correct.

He's talking about the flyer included with the game bought at Best Buy as seen in the youtube video. I would guess its some fancy items.

Best Buy purchasers will get some minor extra stuff post-release (it's not ready yet), and I'm told Walmart buyers will get something as well. We'll be notifying those people once the content is available.

Do us lowly online purchasers get nothing, then?

Awesome.

So what do stardock purchasers get post-release? nothing?

Different retailers paid for additional quests to be made.  They won't be available until AFTER the official release date.

In addition, those quests will be made available to all players at a later date.

I'll be really upset if this "exclusive content" isn't made available to people who bought the game from Stardock. So much so that I will never buy a game directly from Stardock again.

Do I need more reasons to regret learning about irony? This kind of chop-shop approach to content leaves me feeling far from content as a long-term Stardock games customer.
