DRM and nuked post

Hi,

There was a post here from someone who bought the retail edition but was not able to play. 

So I just bought this game and it looks amazing.  When I tried to run it it says the game is not available and for me to come to this website.  Well, I am here and see nothing about why it is "not available" even though it is on my computer.  Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can enjoy this game.

I tried to reply to his post but it has been deleted! What I want to know is if there is mandatory online activation in this game. If there is then you cannot call it DRM free.
